About the Position

Job Title: Float Pool RN Profession: RN Telemetry I Specialty: RN Telemetry I Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evening and Weekend Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of acute care hospital experience in one location; and 2 years working as a Traveler License: Active RN License Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Must be willing to float to different units - Telemetry monitoring skills, including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours - Ability to perform Cardiac Drips - Experience with TR Band Description: This is a Float Pool RN position. Responsibilities include providing care in various Med/Surg Tele areas. The clinician to patient ratio is up to 5:1 during days and evenings, and up to 6:1 at night. You will care for patients in different units, including those border patients from the emergency department and non-vented patients ready for transfer from the ICU. The units range from 8 to 41 beds. Rotation requirements include working days and evenings, with 1 to 3 rotations to night shifts per contract. The charting system used is EPIC.
