Ocupational therapist

Current license or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Florida; graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program. Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive evaluations, develop measurable treatment goals, and implement client-centered interventions in post-acute or long-term care settings. Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize caseload and adjust treatment plans based on resident progress. Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members, including nursing, therapy, and medical staff. Proficiency in documentation, EMR systems, and understanding of reimbursement guidelines, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards relevant to rehabilitation services. Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards, resident dignity, and a person-centered approach to care; openness to ongoing learning, mentoring, and participation in on-site education programs.
