ATM Help Desk Technician

ATM Help Desk TechnicianGenesis10 is currently seeking an ATM Help Desk Technician for a contract position with a Major Financial Institution located in McLean, VA. This is a 5+ month contract opportunity.This role will join a Technical Operations Center to support a production fleet of ATMs. The successful candidate will provide technical support to Field Service Technicians, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and manage processes to drive high availability in a 24x7x365 environment.Responsibilities:Support the production fleet by providing technical support to ATM Field Service Technicians and driving high-availabilityProvide technical phone support for service technicians, as well as process control and management to drive first-time resolutionTroubleshoot issues and failures related to hardware, software, services, and networkAct as a liaison between internal team members and vendors to help resolve escalated customer issuesProvide basic troubleshooting and ask probing questions to assist clients and service vendors while on siteHandle internal/external reports and status updatesMonitor multiple email boxes and ensure accurate and precise responses within Service Level AgreementsFollow-up on open escalations to ensure smooth handling and accurate closureRequirements:Associate's Degree in a Computer Science or Technology discipline; or Technical Certification in Microsoft, Cisco or Unix/Linux Technologies, ITIL Foundations, CompTia; or equivalent work experience (at least 1 year in a similar role)Must be able to work nights and weekends as neededAbility to understand the current state of ATMs to fully diagnose problems for resolutionAbility to troubleshoot ATM software related issuesAbility to work multiple systems simultaneouslyExcellent written and oral communication skillsGood interpersonal skills and ability to work well with end usersGood time management and prioritization skillsAble to handle confidential matters judiciouslyProvide efficient productivity and superior quality service while working in a fast-paced environmentPay range: $16.23 - $24.23 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
