Working in childcare is much more than simply watching children. Our teachers are expected to be on their feet and involved— playing, teaching, reading, singing, talking, redirecting, cleaning, organizing, and interacting with children throughout the day.

Two-Year-Old Teacher

Our Two-Year-Old Teachers provide a safe, nurturing, structured, and fun learning environment.

Daily responsibilities include:

• Active supervision at all times
• Leading age-appropriate learning activities and curriculum
• Circle time, art, music, books, learning centers, and outdoor play
• Positive behavior guidance and redirection
• Supporting toilet learning and assisting with diapering/personal care
• Meals, rest time, and classroom transitions
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom
• Communicating professionally with families

Afterschool / Summer Camp Teacher

If you enjoy working with elementary-age children and have the energy to keep them busy and engaged, this may be the position for you!

Responsibilities include:

• Actively supervising school-age children
• Leading games, crafts, group activities, and outdoor play
• Creating a fun but structured environment
• Managing behavior using positive guidance
• Building positive relationships with children
• Helping maintain a clean and organized program
• Participating in Summer Camp activities and field trips as assigned
• Following all TLC Schools safety and supervision procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous childcare, preschool, afterschool, camp, or early childhood experience is preferred
• Must meet Texas Child Care Regulation requirements
• Must be able to pass required background checks
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance are essential
• Must be able to safely perform the physical duties involved in caring for and supervising children, with reasonable accommodation as applicable
