Weekly Pay: Up to $2,112/week
Contract: 13 or 26 weeks

Job Description

Quick2Hire is seeking an experienced LVN/LPN for a Long-Term Care facility in beautiful Seward, Alaska . This is a travel contract opportunity with 12-hour shifts and a 1:20 patient ratio .

The clinician will provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with conditions including dementia, Alzheimer's, TBI, cognitive impairments, and physical impairments.

Requirements

• Active Alaska LVN/LPN license in hand – REQUIRED
• Minimum 1 year of LTC experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• BLS certification
• LTC/SNF experience
• Must have experience with medication administration, vital signs, blood glucose monitoring, G-tube/PEG feedings, wound care, Foley catheters, and respiratory treatments
• Must live 50+ miles from the facility
• Pending Alaska licenses are not accepted
• First-time travelers are not accepted

Assignment Details

• Patient Ratio: 1:20
• Shift: 12-hour shifts
• Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12
• Days or Nights based on facility needs
• No regular day/night rotation
• Floating within scope may be required
• No on-call requirement
• Guaranteed 60 hours per 2 weeks
• Traveler may be called off for one 12-hour shift per 2 weeks
• Charting: ECS
• Free parking

Additional Benefits & Information

• Facility provides shuttle transportation to/from Anchorage at the beginning and end of the assignment
• Local shuttle available in Seward
• Alaska Food Worker Certification provided during orientation; one-time $10 fee
• Must be willing to work at least 2 of 3 major winter holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
• Up to 2 weeks of RTO may be considered for a 26-week contract
• All RTO must be submitted with the application
