Residential Director

Higher Ground Housing is seeking an experienced, energetic, and deeply committed Residential Director to lead and manage an individualized daily living support program for a young adult on the autism spectrum. This is a full‑time, salaried position with a desired two‑year commitment. The Residential Director is the cornerstone of the program. In this role, you will build and lead a small team of Direct Support Professionals, oversee every aspect of daily support and program delivery, and serve as the primary point of coordination for healthcare and other service providers. It is preferred, though not required, that the Residential Director live on‑site; qualified candidates who prefer to live off‑site are also encouraged to apply. This is a role for someone who leads with both professionalism and heart, and who understands that those two things are inseparable in this work. Bachelor's degree in social work, special education, psychology or a related field Minimum 3 years' experience working with young adults with developmental disabilities, ideally autism and ADHD Experience in medication administration Knowledge of local, state and federal disability laws Proficiency in augmentative communication devices is a plus Excellent communication and advocacy skills Ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team of service providers Strong organizational skills Strong problem‑solving skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
