Client Service Representative
VCA Animal Hospitals
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and compassionate Veterinary Client Service Representative to serve as the first point of contact for our clients and patients. This role is vital in creating a welcoming experience while ensuring efficient communication and smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate excels in customer service, multitasking, and maintaining a calm, professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet clients and patients warmly, providing a positive and professional first impression
Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and address client inquiries
Manage appointment flow to support efficiency for the medical team
Accurately enter and update patient and client information in the computer system
Process payments, invoices, and financial transactions
Communicate clearly with veterinarians, technicians, and kennel staff to ensure continuity of care
Provide clients with information regarding services, treatments, and general pet care
Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Assist with administrative duties such as filing, email communication, and record keeping
Maintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby area
Qualifications:
Previous customer service experience preferred; veterinary or medical office experience preferred
Strong computer skills and ability to learn practice management software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable handling sensitive or emotional situations with empathy and professionalism
