Your Role and Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, and chronic health conditions, working closely with physicians or operating independently (as per credentialing)
• Providing education to patients and families regarding prevention, wellness, and the management of diseases
• Prescribing medications and therapies within your scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic care management
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless and holistic care
• Accurately documenting all patient encounters in electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Kentucky
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
