Quality Inspector

Responsibilities The Quality Inspector position is part of the Quality Team and reports to the Quality Manager. This position will require a broad range of responsibilities to ensure success. Some examples of these responsibilities are listed below (but are not limited to the following): Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using calibrated tools and equipment. Perform and document First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with applicable requirements and standards. Identify and document defects or non‑conformities and segregate or reject nonconforming products and materials. Inspect in‑process production by verifying specifications through visual checks and measurement testing to ensure compliance with quality standards. Approve finished products by confirming specifications through visual and dimensional inspections, managing rework activities, and verifying reworked product conformity. Develop, maintain, and update inspection checklists, quality records, and related documentation. Report quality issues, anomalies, and recurring trends to the Quality team for review and corrective action. Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying opportunities to enhance quality control and manufacturing processes. Perform administrative tasks to maintain compliance to the Quality Management System. Additional tasks as assigned by the Quality Manager. Systems Used Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, PPT, Excel) SyteLine UKG Requirements High School diploma or GED. Experience as an Inspection or Quality Technician. Understanding of basic and shop mathematics. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Proficient in the use of micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools. Ability to use electrical testing equipment such as a multimeter (preferred). Strong visual inspection skills and attention to detail. Advanced organizational skills. Ability to analyze and interpret technical information. Compensation This position is full‑time, hourly, non‑exempt. Compensation typically follows the industry median for Northeast Ohio/the Great Lakes region. You may be eligible for an annual bonus. This is a long‑term, high‑accountability role.
