We are currently looking for a motivated and ambitious Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The Role We aren’t just looking for someone to crunch numbers; we are looking for a future leader in our finance department. As a Staff Accountant, you will work closely with our Controller who will provide mentorship and guidance to help you master foundational accounting principles while gradually taking on more complex financial analysis and reporting tasks. What You Will Do Assist in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Help prepare and post journal entries and ensure accurate general ledger accounts. Perform bank and credit card reconciliations. Own the Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) processes. Own the Payroll Process. Help prepare financial statements and variance analysis. Collaborate with the team to improve accounting processes and implement new efficiencies. Take on special projects and cross-train in different areas of finance as you master your core responsibilities. Qualifications Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Understanding of GAAP principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables). Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Desktop, ADP, ConnectWise) is a plus, but we will train the right person.
