Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Registered Nurse Medical Surgical - Neuro

Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 times a week. Travelers are required to work every other weekend.

Contracts available for 13-26 weeks, with options for 36 or 48 hours per week. If time off includes weekends, those dates will need to be made up at the end of the contract.

Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year of direct MedSurg experience.

Travelers must have completed at least 2 successful contracts; first-time travelers will not be accepted.

Certifications required: BCLS, NIH, NIHSS; ACLS preferred but not required.

Skills needed: IV start, telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and Med/Surg neuro experience.

Provide high-quality patient care to stroke and neuro surgery patients.

Monitor and manage dysrhythmias, ensure effective communication during handoffs.

Float to other Med/Surg/Telemetry areas as required, including possible COVID care units.

Participate in a 4-bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit training when applicable.
