About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our team at the EZ Steps Learning Center in Stamford, CT. As an early childhood education center, we strive to foster a love of learning in our students while providing a nurturing environment that meets each child's unique needs. This is a full-time position with an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing lesson plans to ensure a stimulating and engaging learning environment.
• Providing individualized care and attention to the needs of each child, including feeding, diapering, and potty training, to promote healthy development.
• Participating in regular staff and training meetings to stay updated on best practices and policies.
• Engaging with children to encourage exploration, play, and learning through interactive activities.
• Presenting clear expectations and setting a good example to help children develop essential life skills.
• Planning and organizing activities that promote self-esteem, social skills, and cognitive development.
• Maintaining open and professional communication with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and ensure a positive experience for all.
• Ensuring compliance with Goddard Quality Assurance and CT state licensing requirements.
• Using and interpreting assessment tools to monitor progress and adjust instruction.

• Must have Certificate of Head Teacher for Age Birth to Preschool or be qualified through prior experience.
• Associates or BA degree or prior classroom experience in Infant, Toddler, or Preschool education.
• Must pass a BCI background check and FBI Fingerprinting.
