Housekeeping Manager - Full Time

Location: 401 Lowell Ave, Haverhill, MA 01832, United States Base Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 / Hour Position: Housekeeping Manager at TownePlace Suites and Fairfield Inn Haverhill Responsibilities Inspect rooms once cleaned by Housekeeping to ensure they meet cleanliness standards Assist the Housekeeping department with changing bed linens, restocking room supplies, vacuuming, and dusting Report cases of property damage to supervisor Oversee a team of Housekeepers and Housepersons Clean rooms occasionally or when necessary Report and return any guest properties that were left behind Keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, and in good working order Work with other staff members to ensure that all guest rooms meet hotel standards and accommodate any special guest needs Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management Qualifications High school education or equivalent experience At least two years Hotel Housekeeping experience preferred Continuous standing 90% of time Lifting up to 50 lbs (limited) Pushing up to 50 lbs Must be able to work independently Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language Hours required: Full Time Additional Preferred Skills/Qualities Previous customer facing experience preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and procedures Strong attention to detail Second language is a plus Compensation and Benefits $22 - $23 Hourly Earned paid time off Employer-contribution medical/dental/vision insurance Optional life insurance Short term/Long term disability Optional 401k with employer match Employee discounts at participating hotels Option to sign up for on-demand pay with DailyPay Refer a friend – get paid extra when they join our team!
