Emergency Nursing Position

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate emergency nursing care for patients of all ages

Perform rapid triage and prioritize patient care based on acuity levels

Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as ordered

Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status

Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and healthcare staff to coordinate care

Operate and monitor emergency medical equipment

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system

Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines

Requirements

Active RN license

Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience (ER preferred)

BLS certification required

ACLS required or willingness to obtain within required timeframe

PALS and TNCC preferred

Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills

Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure emergency department setting

Preferred Qualifications

Previous Emergency Room nursing experience

Experience with trauma and critical care patients

Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
