Superintendent

Job Description Structure Tone Boston, part of STO Building Group is looking for a Superintendent to support our projects. The Superintendent is responsible for the timely and cost‑effective field coordination, quality control and day‑to‑day supervision of subcontracted work forces for construction projects. Responsibilities Prepare the project schedule and maintain accurate status reports. Oversee field coordination, quality control, and everyday supervision of subcontracted work forces. Review status and project progress with the Project Manager and client representatives regularly. Enforce safety standards and requirements for all craftsmen and equipment operation. Direct subcontractor activities within ground‑up construction projects. Analyze manpower, material, and equipment requirements and interface these needs with others as designated by the supervising superintendent. Implement and enforce policies, procedures, and related work rules as established by field construction management. Prepare reports and forecasts, and keep supervisors informed on progress of assigned activities. Coordinate lock‑out/tag‑out with subcontractors of utilities such as nitrogen, vacuum, compressed air, RO‑DI, and steam. Manage QA/QC and understanding of client engineering specifications or requirements. Qualifications At least 5 years of field experience. Supervisory experience as a General Foreman, Field Engineer, or Assistant Superintendent. Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills. Salary and Compensation Salary: $125,000 – $200,000 per year. Eligible for discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.
