Purchasing Manager

Part of a Global Group of life saving technology companies, my client design and manufacture elevator safety and communications products. What the Purchasing Manager entails The successful Purchasing Manager will: Lead end-to-end procurement operations across multiple sites, owning sourcing, contracting, planning, inventory, warehousing, supplier management, and continuity of supply. Drive cost and inventory performance, delivering PPV, savings, and cost reduction targets while optimizing total landed cost, freight, COGS, and inventory levels. Build and lead a high-performing procurement team, establishing clear accountability, KPI-driven performance management, capability development, and succession planning. Develop strategic supplier partnerships, leading supplier selection, sourcing, negotiations, risk management, and long-term supplier performance to achieve cost, quality, and delivery objectives. Partner cross-functionally to enable business growth, supporting NPI, engineering, operations, quality, and finance while driving procurement governance, continuous improvement, and make-or-buy decisions. Requirements of the Purchasing Manager 8–10+ years relevant procurement experience. Progressive people leadership experience. Strong emotional intelligence and team-building capability. Contracting and supplier management expertise. Experience in manufacturing supply chains with engineering change, component management and NPI exposure. #J-18808-Ljbffr April Quest
