A day in this role

Based in North Canton, OH, you’ll start your shift by reviewing project plans and confirming colors and finishes. You’ll prep each surface meticulously—washing, sanding, and priming—before moving into application with brushes, rollers, and spray equipment. Throughout the day you’ll check coverage, make touch-ups, and ensure the final result meets exacting client standards. You’ll wrap up by cleaning tools, organizing your area, and documenting what’s complete.

Shift options

• Weekday: Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–4:30pm
• Weekend: Friday–Sunday, 6:00am–6:30pm

What you’ll do

• Prepare a variety of surfaces through cleaning, sanding, and priming to achieve proper adhesion.
• Blend and match paints, stains, and coatings to meet specified shades and finishes.
• Apply coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray systems with consistent technique.
• Inspect completed work to verify quality, coverage, and finish.
• Keep tools maintained and the work area orderly and safe.
• Collaborate with clients and teammates to clarify scope, timelines, and expectations.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times.

What you bring

• 2+ years of hands-on painting experience in a similar capacity.
• Strong grasp of application techniques, tools, and material selection.
• Comfort working solo and within a team environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
• Effective time management with a track record of meeting deadlines.
• Physical capability to handle painting tasks and equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; painting-related certifications are a plus.
