About the Position

\n

Eagle Promotions is seeking an experienced Sales Import Specialist to coordinate custom apparel development and overseas production projects for key customer accounts.

\n

\n

This role serves as the primary liaison between Sales, Product Development, Design, and overseas manufacturing partners to ensure projects move efficiently from initial development through production and final delivery.

\n

\n

The ideal candidate has experience with imported apparel production, product lifecycle management (PLM) systems, technical documentation, and managing multiple projects with strict customer deadlines.

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Coordinate custom apparel development and import production projects from initial concept through delivery.
\n
• Serve as the primary point of contact between Sales, Design, Product Development, and overseas factories.
\n
• Manage development calendars, work-in-progress (WIP) trackers, production schedules, and customer deadlines.
\n
• Prepare and maintain tech packs, bills of materials (BOMs), garment specifications, RFQs, and production documentation.
\n
• Manage customer PLM systems and portals, including required documentation, costing, and project updates.
\n
• Review tech packs and artwork files for accuracy and completeness.
\n
• Coordinate sample development, product testing, and production approvals.
\n
• Communicate with overseas factories regarding production requirements, timelines, and shipping documentation.
\n
• Ensure compliance with customer brand guidelines, vendor requirements, and shipping instructions.
\n
• Coordinate shipping paperwork, carton markings, and Incoterms documentation.
\n
• Track overseas shipments and communicate production or delivery updates.
\n
• Identify potential delays, resolve development issues, and coordinate solutions across departments.
\n
• Support the Sales team with technical production knowledge, sourcing information, and project updates.
\n

Required Qualifications

\n

\n
• Experience managing imported apparel production and development projects.
\n
• Working knowledge of PLM systems and customer product development portals.
\n
• Understanding of apparel technical design, tech packs, BOMs, and garment specifications.
\n
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment decoration, and apparel manufacturing processes.
\n
• Experience coordinating with overseas factories and suppliers.
\n
• Strong project management, organization, and multitasking skills.
\n
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and related business applications.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
\n
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and resolve production issues independently.
\n
• Strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate with multiple departments.
\n
