Machine Operator

What you’ll do: Plan machining by studying work orders, production paperwork, materials, specifications, dimensions, and tolerances Evaluate programs for machine equipment by entering instructions, including zero and reference points, setting tool registers, offsets, and calculating requirements using basic math, geometry, and trigonometry Process each order per customer specifications Verify accuracy of parts by adhering to inspection process set by management Maintain specifications by observing and taking measurements using tape measures and micrometers; detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes, adjusting and reprogramming controls, sharpening and replacing worn tools, and adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes Complete preventive maintenance requirements by following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, notifying warehouse lead, and/or calling for repairs Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting/communicating actions, irregularities, and needs Maintain quality parts and processes by visually and dimensionally inspecting parts, production paperwork, with inspection reports completed upon receipt at each department Adhere to basic housekeeping standards and safe operating procedures (OSHA, PPE, etc.) Document actions by completing production and quality logs Has certification or willingness to become certified in operating a forklift Perform other duties as assigned We are looking for passionate leaders who bring initiative and creativity while putting the customer at the center of all they do!
