About the Position

Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 20 Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience License: CA CRT Licensure, CA Venipuncture Licensure Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: - Competency in performing routine and specialized computerized tomography procedures. - Ability to produce quality images for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease. - Independent work ethic, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills. - Capability to deliver accurate results in a timely manner. - Effective patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and communication skills. - Adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures. - Understanding of patient privacy and safety while providing optimal care. Description: Competently performs routine and specialized computerized tomography procedures. Produces quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers. Facilitates diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease. Works independently and exercises sound judgment. Demonstrates developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures. Delivers accurate results in a timely manner. Gains confidence and cooperation from patients and their support groups. Communicates effectively with healthcare providers. Adheres to all regulations, codes, policies, and procedures. Ensures privacy and safety while delivering patient care. May be responsible for performing specific procedures and aiding in staff orientation.
