Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a busy community Adult and Pediatric Emergency Department
• Manage a patient assignment within a 27-bed Emergency Department, typically at a 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Care for a wide variety of patient presentations including stroke center cases across all acuity levels
• Fulfill weekend shift requirements (approximately 5–6 weekend shifts per scheduling period)
• Observe holiday coverage requirements including one major and one minor holiday

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (required)
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (required)
• PALS certification from the American Heart Association (required)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a community-based Emergency Department setting
• Comfort working with both adult and pediatric emergency populations
• Experience in a stroke center environment
