and the job listing Expires on July 26, 2026 We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Tax Preparer to join our team. Path Accounting is a Tax and Accounting Firm with offices in Logan and Lehi, Utah. This position will prepare complex tax returns for individuals and businesses. We are small and growing fast. Duties Prepare and review individual and business tax returns independently Manage client relationships and hold tax conversations directly with clients Assist clients with tax planning strategies Communicate proactively with partners on open items, deadlines, and client needs Meet deadlines consistently across a full client roster Maintain organized client files and tax inbox Busy season expectations – willingness to work extended hours February through April Eventually train and mentor junior staff as the office grows Skills 3+ years of experience preparing individual and business tax returns Proficient in Lacerte or similar professional tax software Able to work independently and manage a full client roster without daily supervision Strong communication skills – with clients and with partners Detail oriented with a consistent track record of accurate, on time work CPA or EA not required but encouraged On-the-job training Paid time off Application Question(s) What is your experience with Lacerte?
