Registered Nurse Battle Creek, MI Specialty: Home Health/Hospice Position Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay: $1604 - $1933 | Shift: 5x8 Days Are you a compassionate Registered Nurse looking for a rewarding opportunity in home health and hospice care? Do you excel in providing patient-centered care and thrive in dynamic environments? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients in the Battle Creek area. As a Weekend Field Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering essential nursing care to participants. Your responsibilities will include conducting participant assessments, performing regular field visits, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support. You will be instrumental in maintaining effective communication with leadership and adapting to changing workloads.
- Perform participant assessments to determine appropriate levels of care
- Respond promptly to communications from primary care providers and support staff
- Document interactions and initiate emergency treatments as needed
- Conduct home visits for wound care, IV hydration, lab draws, and other nursing tasks
- Provide education and support to participants, families, and facility staff
- Coordinate with providers, staff, and external partners to ensure participant care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff development programs
- Maintain effective communication with leadership and adapt to workload changes
- Need 1 year experience in setting
