Temporary Technical - Production Assistant/Product Delivery

Production Assistant / Product Delivery Classification: Temporary / Part‑Time (Non‑student worker) Averaging 15-20 hours per week, with potential for more hours based upon project load. $15-$17 hourly based on experience. Department: Biomedical Communications - 60500 Job Summary Responsible to the Director of Production at BMC Creative by providing delivery services to various university entities; servicing a university‑wide customer base, which extends to ETSU Health clinic allocations and administrative offices; some assistance with production finishing tasks, including binding and sorting. Responsibilities Use production equipment safely and maintain it, including repairs. Understand and utilize online traffic systems. Handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. Adhere to BMC's delivery procedures. Utilize production and bindery equipment and inventory to produce and deliver end products. Confirm product specifications. Maintain HIPAA certification and strictly follow HIPAA guidelines as they relate to the protection of patient information while completing projects. Work with BMC’s creative team on project files and with Postal Services staff for mail services. Communicate with customers about schedules when necessary. Assist with production and installation for large‑format printing, exhibition work, canvases, floor and outdoor sidewalk graphics, and finishing. Ensure the most effective operations for work as directed. Help maintain inventory of paper, poster stock, bindery supplies, toner, and other consumables. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma. Ability to transport and deliver to and from academic and clinical campuses and various businesses. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Compensation $15 - $17 per hour based on experience. Important Notes This position is on‑site and is not eligible for remote work. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
