Job Description

Join a dynamic team in a food production environment where you will assist with the cooking process, ensuring quality control, and efficient machine operation. Your role will involve setting up and maintaining machines, performing quality checks, and data entry. You will also be responsible for setting up, changing over, and troubleshooting machines, as well as performing sanitation duties to keep the facility clean.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cooking rice in a food production environment.
• Perform quality checks and data entry throughout the process.
• Set up and maintain proper machine operating duties.
• Responsible for setups, changeovers, and troubleshooting machines.
• Operate sit-down forklifts, preferred.
• Lift up to 50+ lbs as needed.
• Perform sanitation duties and help clean the facility.

Essential Skills

• 1-3 years of experience as a Production Worker.
• Experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings.
• Proficiency in production, general production, machine operating, and setup.
• Ability to inspect, perform quality checks, assemble, and troubleshoot.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Sit-down forklift experience is preferred.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate-controlled environment with steam rooms and areas where floors may be slippery. Training will be conducted on the 1st shift, but the position will transition to the 3rd shift from 9 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of ANTIOCH, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.
