Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including comprehensive physical examinations to diagnose and manage various dermatological conditions.
• Perform medical procedures such as skin biopsies, cryotherapy, and intralesional injections under the supervision of our board-certified dermatologists.
• Screen patients to assess their dermatological needs and determine appropriate treatment plans, ensuring a patient-first approach.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with regulatory standards, leveraging our electronic health record (EHR) system for documentation.
• Manage the ordering of diagnostic tests and interpreting those results to inform treatment decisions effectively.
• Educate patients on skincare regimens and preventive care measures for maintaining skin health, contributing to lasting patient relationships.
• Engage in promotional activities, including community health fairs and educational seminars, to enhance public awareness of dermatological health.
• Uphold robust compliance and quality standards, adhering to HIPAA regulations and implementing Universal Precautions to ensure patient safety.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will interact with a broad demographic, treating patients of all ages who present with a variety of skin conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancers. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program is a minimum requirement.
• A minimum of one year of applicable experience in a dermatological setting is essential.
• Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills, enabling excellent communication and patient interaction.
• Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
