Work Environment

As a Dermatology Physician Assistant at Vibrant Skin Experts, you will work onsite in our hospital facility that is known for its supportive and inclusive atmosphere. The role entails working Monday to Friday during standard business hours, ensuring a work-life balance conducive to maintaining your health and well-being. Our practice serves a wide variety of patients across all age groups, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, each with unique dermatological needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed medical histories and physical examinations for dermatology patients, accurately documenting findings to inform diagnosis.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic procedures as necessary to aid in comprehensive treatment planning.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific dermatological conditions, in alignment with established medical protocols.
• Skillfully perform dermatological procedures, including but not limited to biopsies, cryotherapy, and electrodessication and curettage (ED&C), ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient evaluations, chart notes, and billing records in a timely and efficient manner.
• Advise and educate patients about treatment options, necessary procedures, and effective skincare routines, ensuring they are well-informed participants in their care.
• Collaborate effectively with supervising physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, discussing treatment outcomes and modifying plans as required.
• Provide consistent follow-up care, monitoring patient progress to achieve optimal health outcomes, as well as ensuring satisfaction with the provided services.
• Engage in continuous education and professional development to remain up-to-date with advances in dermatology and improve clinical skills.

Your expertise as a Dermatology Physician Assistant at Vibrant Skin Experts will cater to a diverse clientele, ranging from infants to seniors. Qualifications

• A valid state Physician Assistant license is required, in good standing and unrestricted for practice within the facility.
• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program is essential.
• Current unrestricted State Medical License applicable to your practice location.
• Commitment to fulfilling the requirements for annual continuing medical education as stipulated by your specialty.

Preferred Experience

• Preferred candidates will have at least one year of practical experience working in Medical Dermatology.
• Experience with a wide variety of dermatological procedures will be considered a significant asset.
• Previous exposure to working in a collaborative team environment is highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to USD 150,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a competitive base salary, a productivity bonus structure is available.
