Role Description The Accounting Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Kalamazoo Area. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling accounts payable / receivable, data entry, invoicing, assisting in coding credit card statements, filing, handling mail, and assisting with all other accounting functions. The Accounting Specialist will use Quickbooks to process invoices, payments, and receipts, assist with financial reporting and audits, and collaborate with operations and leadership to ensure accurate tracking of assets and revenues. The role also involves responding to accounting inquiries, improving internal controls, and contributing to process efficiency within the finance function. Qualifications Applicant must be resourceful! Applicant must have a strong phone presence, a high attention to detail along with the ability to focus, prioritize, multi-task in a fast paced environment. Ability to follow through with both verbal & written instructions is required. Integrity and confidentiality are imperative in this position.
