Shift Hours: Monday – Friday 7am – 3:30pm

Rate of Pay: $19.00

KeyStaff is hiring for Quality Control Inspectors to work at a Medical Manufacturing plant in the sunrise area. 

Position Summary
Working under supervision and following detailed verbal and written instructions, performs
Quality inspections to ensure product/component/subassemblies are meeting corresponding
specifications for medical device products.

Minimum Skills and Capabilities:
-High School diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Must read, write and understand English
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience
- Must have the ability to use measuring devices, such as rulers calipers.
- Must be able to work weekends and overtime as necessary.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Must have strong dexterity, be detail oriented, and have good hand-eye coordination to
successfully build units.
- Consistently meet the quantity and quality sewing expectations.

Minimum Knowledge Experience required for the position:
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- Basic knowledge of IT systems. If no basic knowledge of IT, has the ability to pick up
systems in a quick and timely manner
- Abiltiy to read and understand company operating procedures

Key Accountabilities:
- Performs Quality control inspections
- Evaluate and organize quality system documentation.
- Read blueprints. Analyze and apply drawing requirements in various inspection and test
situations.
- Determine sample size, selection method and accept/reject criteria for specific situations.
Use related terms and concepts such as AQL, lot size, sample size, acceptance number,
switching rules, sampling plans, zero-defect sampling, etc.
- Apply Calibration Procedures (Gage traceability, Calibration status, Report calibration
discrepancies, etc.)
- Responsible for compliance with Workstation Practices and Personnel Procedures
- Responsible for formal training and proper use of document revisions, completion of the
Device History Record/Traveler, and compliance to all calibration and preventative
maintenance needs at their immediate workstation or area
