Business Analyst – xPression Migration

Pay Range: $50-55/hr

W2 Contract

Milwaukee, WI (Hybrid or fully remote)

Position Summary

We are seeking a Business Analyst to support the migration from xPression to our next-generation platform. This role will serve as a key connection point between business stakeholders, Compliance, Product, Engineering, Architecture, Operations, and downstream partners. The Business Analyst will be responsible for understanding existing xPression capabilities and workflows, documenting current-state processes and dependencies, gathering and refining future-state requirements, and supporting the migration of communications and related functionality to the new platform. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a technical environment and can take complex business and operational processes and translate them into clear requirements, workflows, acceptance criteria, and actionable work for engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Discovery:

• Lead requirements-gathering sessions with business, Compliance, Product, Engineering, Operations, and other stakeholders.
• Document functional and non-functional requirements for the future-state platform.
• Understand how users currently create, manage, review, approve, test, and deploy communications within xPression.
• Identify requirements for content authoring, templates, business rules, data integration, approvals, versioning, auditing, and governance.
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and technical requirements.
• Identify gaps, assumptions, dependencies, risks, and open decisions.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Business Analyst experience.
• Experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.
• Ability to translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
• Experience identifying gaps, dependencies, risks, and business process impacts.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across business and technical teams.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Experience supporting platform migrations or modernization initiatives.
• Experience with xPression or customer communications management (CCM) platforms.
• Knowledge of content management, approval workflows, versioning, and governance.
• Experience working with data integrations and downstream systems.
• Agile experience supporting software development teams.
