Maintenance Manager

Facility Maintenance ManagerThe fundamental purpose of this position is to identify requirements and ensure appropriate action is taken to meet the maintenance needs of various facility systems, such as HVAC, refrigeration, PLC, electrical, hydraulics and automation. This position is responsible for ensuring all equipment, facilities, and grounds are maintained and working in optimal condition to support production and safety.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Sets overall maintenance department goals, processes, and procedures to accomplish company objectives and KPIsEnsures all health, safety, and regulations are followedCreates and maintains a preventive maintenance system as well as procedures to keep day-to-day operations and equipment running efficiently and effectivelyOversees Equipment Maintenance and Facility Maintenance departmentsManages and executes facility maintenance program to include assessments, repair, and construction projectsMaintains safe and clean work environment. Trains personnel on processes and proceduresPlans the work and monitors performance – determines the techniques to be used and apportions the work among maintenance employeesAnalyzes data, investigates issues, identifies solutions, and recommends actions to improve KPI targetsParticipates and makes recommendations for developing and improving performance evaluations and interviewing candidatesContributes to Godfrey cultural vision including but not limited to working in a positive fashion with teammates and leadership, taking initiative, and having ownership of workFlexible, performs other duties as assignedSkills & Knowledge:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent related work experienceMinimum of 7 years of experience leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing environmentStrong organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skillsProven track record of minimized equipment down timeProven track record of increasing OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)Proven track record of taking organization from preventive maintenance to predictive maintenanceProficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPointSucceeds in a fast-paced work environmentStrong project and time management skillsExperience with PLCs and automation is highly desirableHighly skilled in problem-solving and team-building
