Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Experience: • 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months. • 24 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience with 1 months worked in the last 12 months. • Travel experience is required. • Experience with Epic is preferred. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Local & travel allowed. • COVID vaccination required after submission. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: - First-time travelers not accepted. - Moderate sedation with Versed/Fentanyl, critical drip management, and ability to monitor/circulate cases required. Preferred Skills/Experience: - Experience with all listed Cath and EP case types preferred. Unit Details: - Cardiac Cath and EP procedure lab performing diagnostic/interventional cases including LHC/RCH, NSTEMI and STEMI, Impella, IABPs, Rotoblator, CTOs/staged PCI, shockwave, temporary pacers, peripheral diagnostic/intervention, loop recorders, Micra, pacemakers, AICDs, lead extractions/revisions, and generator changes. - Uses Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis, Phillips hemodynamics, Merge PACS, and Phillips c-arm. Shift & Scheduling: - Weekend rotation is call only. - Weekend call is scheduled in 4-week increments with 2 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule; shifts may be Saturday and Sunday together or split. - 4-5 additional overnight weekday call shifts per 4-week schedule. - 30-minute response time for call. - No sleep room available. - Holiday expectations: as needed, with possibility of being on call. - RTO up to 7 days. - Schedule is made in 6-week increments with self-scheduling and manager final approval. 7 days maximum time off 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months 1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months Proof of identification required Certifications: • BLS (Basic Life Support) • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Skills Checklist: Yes References: Yes License Type: registered License State: IL Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Basic Life Support Job Details Job Type: Travel Nurse/Patient: – – Shift Type: Day Contract Date: 2026-08-17 Expected Length: 13 weeks Hours per Shift: 10 Shifts per Week: 4
