Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity to earn additional income while making a difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities? Sozo SSS International is seeking a live-In caregiver or individuals available for weekly coverage to provide essential support and care in a residential setting. Sozo SSS International is dedicated to providing housing and support services tailored to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist adults with disabilities with mobility, including individuals using wheelchairs, walkers, or oxygen, and those requiring stand-by physical assistance
- Provide ongoing supervision, behavioral monitoring, laundry assistance, and meal planning
- Coordinate and assist with medical appointments as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and a safe living environment
- Accurately document individual progress, daily notes, incident reports, and all agency-required records
- Administer medications and provide medical care per established protocols, including First Aid/CPR when necessary
- Attend agency training sessions to maintain compliance and ensure the highest standard of health and safety care
Requirements:
- Strong reading and writing skills with attention to detail
- Ability to operate a computer for documentation purposes
- Comfortable with cooking, cleaning, and general household maintenance
- Must be adaptable, patient, and skilled in working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Ability to perform physical activities such as standing, walking, lifting, kneeling, and assisting with mobility as needed
Position Details:
- Non-taxable contract position
- Location: Residential home environment
- Responsibilities may include supporting client appointments during shifts
