Key Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations of patients, including comprehensive reviews of medical history, physical assessments, and formulation of clear, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Effectively communicate evaluation findings and the proposed treatment plan to patients and their families, promoting shared decision-making in goal setting.
• Implement individualized treatment protocols, adapting to each patient's unique presentation and the continuously evolving healthcare practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate care, document changes in patient conditions, and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Oversee discharge planning, ensuring clear communication regarding follow-up care, and maintain accurate, timely documentation of all patient care activities.
• Manage your schedule efficiently to meet productivity expectations while maintaining a punctual and organized work setting.
• Engage with the community through promotional activities and outreach efforts that help raise awareness about our services and physical therapy benefits.
• Contribute to department goals by complying with regulations and promoting a culture of quality care and continuous improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our orthopedic focus serves a diverse population, including individuals recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and general musculoskeletal conditions. You will work closely with patients of all ages, providing tailored therapeutic interventions designed to restore mobility, strength, and overall function.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in Florida.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in orthopedic settings.
• Current CPR certification.
