Mechanical Design EngineerThis role is responsible for designing and developing custom machinery from initial concept through final production. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, reliable equipment that supports efficient manufacturing operations.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign mechanical systems and components using CAD softwarePerform engineering analysis, calculations, and simulations to validate designs and ensure performance standards are metCreate and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and bills of materialsPartner with suppliers and vendors to source components and support system integrationSpecify and select mechanical elements such as motors, gearboxes, bearings, and shafts based on application requirementsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldHands-on experience in machinery or equipment designProficiency with CAD platforms such as Autodesk Inventor and AutoCADStrong foundation in mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processesWorking knowledge of welding methods and fabrication practicesSalary Range: $85,000-$100,000Benefits:Health, dental, and vision, life, short/long term disability insurance401(k) offeringPaid time off and holidays (80 hours PTO)Paid sick leave where applicable by state law.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled
