Georgia Pre-K Lead Teacher. Location Atlanta, GA. Job Type Full-Time. Schedule Monday–Friday. About Us Little Leaders Academy is seeking a passionate, dependable, and experienced Georgia Pre-K Lead Teacher who is committed to creating a nurturing, engaging, and academically rich classroom. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about early childhood education and dedicated to preparing students for lifelong success while maintaining compliance with Georgia Pre-K and Bright from the Start standards. Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with the Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS). Create a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment. Complete lesson plans, assessments, portfolios, and required documentation. Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with families. Maintain classroom management using positive guidance techniques. Ensure compliance with Georgia Pre-K, Bright from the Start, and licensing regulations. Collaborate with administrators and fellow teachers to support student success. Participate in professional development and required trainings. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred). Must meet Georgia Pre-K Lead Teacher qualifications. Previous Georgia Pre‑K teaching experience preferred. Knowledge of GELDS and Georgia Pre‑K instructional requirements. Strong classroom management and communication skills. CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain). Must successfully pass all required background checks. Preferred Qualities Warm, energetic, and patient.
