Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position in Summit, New Jersey. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care, performing assessments, and supporting surgical teams across various specialties including orthopedic, general, urology, and robotics procedures. The OR Nurse will be responsible for ensuring safety, documentation, patient education, and professionalism throughout perioperative care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred; RN Licensure required; BLS certification required; 0 years of experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: CNOR certification preferred
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Must be able to scrub and circulate on orthopedic, general, urology, and robotic surgeries. Candidate should support pre-operative and post-operative assessments, patient education, and documentation within the surgical environment. Emphasis on patient safety, professionalism, and adherence to policies is essential.
