Position Summary

The facility is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologist to join a collegial and multidisciplinary medical team in Bronx, NY.

This full-time opportunity offers a balanced schedule with a mix of inpatient consultations and outpatient clinic practice, with the flexibility to focus on outpatient care if preferred. Physicians will have the opportunity to participate in teaching and mentorship within an affiliated residency program.

Newly trained graduates and H1 visa candidates are encouraged to apply.

Essential Position Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neurological care, including inpatient consults and outpatient evaluations.
• Participate in stroke call coverage remotely via secure video conference.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and residents in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Teach and mentor medical residents within the neurology department.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with EMR and regulatory standards.
• Contribute to departmental initiatives focused on quality improvement, education, and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution.
• Licensure & Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology; eligible for New York medical licensure.
• Experience: Prior hospital-based or academic experience preferred; new graduates welcome to apply.
• Visa: H1 visa candidates are welcome.
