PL/SQL Developer Job Location: Orlando, FL Job Type: Contract Client: DISYS Rate: Depend on Experience Job Authorization: US Citizen/ GC /EAD (H4/L2/TN) (( ONLY W2 RATES OPEN )) Essential Functions PL/SQL Developer with Cognos and OBIEE - ON SITE in Orlando, FL Work with designated department to assess, define, and develop report deliverables to meet internal and customer requirements. Design appropriate data repository and reporting tools that will be used to organize, analyze, and report data. Query data bases to extract information needed to develop reports. Compile data and other information from multiple data sources. Support the development of standard reports. Interpret, analyze and provide recommendations regarding data accuracy and data collection needs and processes. Work with business unit(s) to identify opportunities to enhance existing and to develop new data information processes and tools. Continuously assess and improve data collection and reporting processes. Coordinate or independently complete special projects. Assist staff members with more complex and detailed projects including root cause analyses, trended reporting and analyses which support continuous quality improvement leading to actionable information. Responsible for gathering and assessing business information needs and preparing system requirements. Performs analyses, development and evaluation of data mining in a data warehouse environment, which includes data design, database architecture, metadata and repository creation. Uses data mining and data analysis tools. Reviews and validates data loaded into the data warehouse for accuracy. Responsible for prototyping solutions, preparing test scripts, and conducting tests and for data replication, extraction, loading, cleansing, and data modeling for data warehouses. Maintains knowledge of software tools, languages, scripts, and shells that effectively support the data warehouse environment in different operating system environments. Possesses extensive knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and data warehouse front-end tools. Must have an extensive knowledge of data warehouse and data mart concepts. Qualifications & Experience Requires an Associate's Degree in information systems, business administration, or analytics. Or equivalent work experience 3 to 5 years of IT work experience in business intelligence tools such as OBIEE or Cognos. 3 to 5 years of IT work experience with Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) 3 to 5 years of IT work experience with PL/SQL Staffing the Universe
