Role Description The Payroll Benefits Specialist is a part-time remote role responsible for supporting accurate payroll processing and benefits administration for employees. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining employee records, verifying payroll data, coordinating benefits enrollment and changes, and responding to employee questions about compensation and benefits. The specialist will prepare and review reports, assist with compliance-related documentation, and collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve discrepancies. This role also involves handling employee communications on pay and benefits topics, ensuring timely and courteous follow-up, and helping improve related processes and workflows.\n

• Candidates should possess strong Benefits Administration and Employee Benefits skills, including experience managing enrollments, changes, and related documentation.

• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to review payroll and benefits data, identify discrepancies, and support accurate reporting.

• Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for explaining pay and benefits information to employees and partnering with internal teams.

• Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to provide responsive, respectful support to employees regarding payroll and benefits inquiries.

• Experience with payroll and HRIS systems, and familiarity with relevant employment and benefits regulations, is beneficial.
\n
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage sensitive information with discretion, and meet deadlines is required.
\n
• Prior experience in HR, payroll, or benefits roles and relevant coursework or certification (e.g., CPP, benefits certification) is a plus.
