We are seeking an experienced Technical Support Specialist with 6 8 years of experience and strong expertise in Informatica platforms, including Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with platform architecture, agent deployment, VM management, Azure cloud environments, hybrid deployments, and data governance capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support and administration for Informatica platforms and IDMC
- Troubleshoot platform, infrastructure, agent, connectivity, and deployment issues
- Support Informatica platform architecture, agent deployment, configuration, and VM management
- Monitor platform health, performance, availability, and operational alerts
- Support Informatica environments deployed across cloud and hybrid infrastructure
- Work with Microsoft Azure environments and troubleshoot cloud connectivity and infrastructure issues
- Perform root-cause analysis and resolve technical incidents within agreed SLAs
- Support data discovery and cataloging activities using Informatica Data Catalog and related capabilities
- Configure and maintain automated data scanning and cataloging processes
- Support metadata management across diverse data sources and environments
- Assist with data lineage visualization, impact analysis, and lineage troubleshooting
- Support business glossary creation, maintenance, and stewardship workflows
- Assist with sensitive data discovery, classification, privacy, and compliance requirements
- Support data access and usage policy management
- Monitor platform performance and identify opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement
- Prepare technical documentation, operational procedures, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge articles
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, cloud, data, security, and business teams to resolve issues
- 6 8 years of total IT experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Informatica platforms , including IDMC
- Strong understanding of Informatica platform architecture
- Experience with agent deployment, configuration, and VM management
- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud and hybrid environments
- Experience with platform monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience supporting enterprise data management environments
