About The Role TransForm Automotive, an Amsted Automotive company, is looking for motivated Press Operators to join our team! If you enjoy hands‑on work, operating equipment, being part of a team, and contributing to high‑quality automotive components, we'd love to hear from you. This role is responsible for setting up and operating stamping presses, transfer systems, and feeders while helping us achieve safety, quality, and production goals. What You’ll Do Operating stamping presses, transfer systems, feeders, and related equipment Assisting with die setups and production changeovers Monitoring production and meeting daily output goals Inspecting parts to ensure they meet quality standards Performing quality checks using fixtures and measurement tools Identifying and reporting equipment or quality concerns Maintaining accurate production and labeling documentation Supporting Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives Participating in waste‑reduction and process improvement activities Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment using 5S principles Supporting company goals and helping drive operational excellence What We’re Looking For We're seeking dependable team players who are safety‑conscious, quality‑focused, and ready to make an impact. What You Need To Succeed At least 3 months of experience with press and feeder operations Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment Basic computer skills and ability to use machine control panels Knowledge of quality and environmental standards (IATF 16949, ISO 14001, Q1) Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts Positive attitude and willingness to learn This Is a Hands‑on Manufacturing Role That May Require Standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive movements throughout the shift Frequently lifting up to 50 pounds Working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment Working overtime when needed Exposure to typical manufacturing noise levels Health and wellness Medical, dental and vision insurance Prescription drug benefits Wellness reimbursement Telehealth Onsite health screenings Metal health resources Employee assistance program that includes counseling and support services for mental health, family support, financial advice, legal guidance, and more.
