Conveyor Technician IIIThe Conveyor Technician III position is responsible for ensuring that all facets of building maintenance are taken care of by performing preventative and corrective maintenance on all facets of the (MHE) Material Handling Equipment system and Facilities Building Maintenance. The Conveyor Technician III position is located in Olive Branch, MS. (24 hour by 7 days a week operation, including holidays)Be able to drive (PID) Powered Industrial Trucks inclusive of people movers and forkliftsAssess and resolve a wide array of maintenance issues on-sitePerform preventative maintenance task using tools and equipmentAssist other Maintenance Technicians repairing and maintaining facilities and systemsPerform battery changes, and preventive maintenance on batteriesUnderstand of how equipment, machines, and systems work and the ways to keep them running efficientlyHave a keen eye and attention to detail to identify small issues within the large systemHave the skills to be organized and prioritize the tasks in alignment with company goalsPerform other duties as assignedNote: This job description reflects essential functions, it does not prescribe or restrict the number or types of tasks that may be assigned or reassigned during the conduct of business Check out some of the required qualifications we are looking for in amazing candidates….High School Diploma or EquivalentAt least 10 years of experience working in maintenance supporting Material Handling Systems and or Facilities Building Maintenance or related trade/technical school equivalencyThis is an onsite and in office roleFlexibility with work hours and days. (24 hour by 7 days a week operation, including holidays)Ability to drive (PIT) Powered Industrial Trucks inclusive of people movers and forkliftsReview these physical requirements, as they play a major part in this role….Ability to work at heights and unusual positionsAble to safely operate all hand toolsAble to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basisAble to operate powered industrial equipment including forklifts, pallet-jacks, and handcartsMust be able to tolerate an environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise, dust and work around moving equipment – often while working in uncomfortable positionsDexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet (foot pedals) manual (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation)Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours and wet or uneven surfacesOccasionally exposed to work that requires repetitive motion.
