Description

Safe and Secure Homecare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Sheltered Workshop Manager to join our team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $25 per hour.


**Job Overview:**

As a Sheltered Workshop Manager, you will oversee and coordinate activities in a day program environment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). You will work closely with program participants to ensure their safety, well-being, and personal growth.

**Responsibilities:**

- Develop and implement engaging and meaningful activities for program participants

- Supervise and train staff members to ensure the highest quality of care and support

- Maintain a safe and clean workshop environment

- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and external service providers to create individualized plans for participants

- Monitor and track participant progress and outcomes

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, special education, or a related field (preferred)

- Previous experience working with individuals with I/DD

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations about individuals with disabilities
