Dual‑Site Apartment Service Tech II – Windsor West Plano & Windsor Preston Windsor West Plano is a mid‑rise community of 430 apartment homes. Windsor Preston is a mid‑rise community of 400 apartments. Summary Successful Service Technicians may come from backgrounds in apartment maintenance, HVAC, general labor, construction, hotel, building maintenance, or work order management. They must have intermediate competence in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, and carpentry, and be able to participate in a rotating on‑call schedule for after‑hours and weekend emergency response. Compensation Hourly: Starting at $22.16–$28.38 per hour, depending on years of experience, tenure, and location. Annual starting compensation ranges from $46,092 to $59,030. Benefits 40% housing discount (eligibility subject to credit and background check); 50% after two years of employment. Paid vacation: 10 days accrued bi‑weekly, plus personal time, sick and safe time, 6 weeks parental leave after one year, 10 paid holidays, and up to 3 floating days. Skills At least 2 years experience in multifamily residential, commercial, or hotel maintenance. Familiarity with building safety systems, including fire sprinkler/alarms. Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and apply preventive measures in apartment homes, common areas, mechanical rooms, plumbing, electrical, and appliance areas. Requirements Site‑specific certifications, such as EPA Type II (preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days of start), and CPO (Certified Pool Operator) preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days.
