ServiceNow ITOM Engineer

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join a growing enterprise technology team responsible for enhancing and expanding the organization's ServiceNow platform. This is a hands-on development role focused on designing, building, and supporting scalable ServiceNow solutions that improve operational efficiency, automate business processes, and enhance the end-user experience. The ideal candidate has a strong background in ServiceNow development, enjoys working directly with technical stakeholders, and is comfortable developing custom solutions across multiple platform capabilities. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow solutions across the enterprise platform.
• Build and enhance Service Catalog items, Catalog Items, Record Producers, request forms, and approval workflows.
• Develop workflow automations using Flow Designer and platform development best practices.
• Configure and customize Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, and other platform components.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Enhance existing ServiceNow functionality through automation and process improvements.
• Support integrations between ServiceNow and internal or cloud-based applications using standard integration methods.
• Participate in platform upgrades, enhancements, testing, and ongoing maintenance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, and configuration documentation.
• Recommend improvements that increase platform performance, usability, and operational efficiency.

• 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong experience developing: Service Catalog, Catalog Items, Record Producers, Request Forms, Flow Designer and/or Workflow Editor, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes.
• Experience building workflow automations and service request processes.
• Strong JavaScript development experience within the ServiceNow platform.
• Experience configuring and customizing the ServiceNow platform.
• Experience working with REST APIs and ServiceNow integrations.
• Ability to work directly with technical and business teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
• Experience with one or more ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, Asset Management, SecOps, HRSD, or similar platform capabilities.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with cloud services or enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with enterprise infrastructure and IT service management environments.
• Experience improving manual processes through workflow automation and self-service capabilities.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

• Developing new ServiceNow capabilities and enhancing existing functionality.
• Building and improving self-service request processes and workflow automations.
• Supporting enterprise platform enhancements and integration initiatives.
• Working closely with technical teams to streamline operational processes.
• Delivering scalable solutions that improve efficiency and the overall user experience across the ServiceNow platform.

Compensation range depends on experience: $50-70 hr W2
