Human Resources Generalist

Overview Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with a manufacturing organization, is seeking a skilled Human Resources Generalist . This role supports hourly bargaining unit employees, administers core HR functions, and ensures compliance with collective agreements in a fast-paced production environment. Job Duties Administer employment office functions including leave tracking, reinstatements, and personnel records Deliver onboarding and orientation sessions for the hourly workforce Support lean manufacturing goals through aligned HR practices Promote and drive employee engagement initiatives at the plant level Assist with the administration and compliance of collective bargaining agreements Conduct workforce analysis and manage labor deployment within contractual and policy frameworks Skills & Experience Required Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience with conflict resolution and problem-solving Degree in Human Resources or related field 1+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Familiarity with unionized environments and labor relations Experience interacting with all levels of management and union representatives Blue Chip Talent is an award-winning and woman-owned talent solutions provider based in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
