Precision Plumbing and Heating Systems is looking for an experienced Residential HVAC and Plumbing Estimator to join our growing new construction team. As a Residential HVAC and Plumbing Estimator, you'll prepare detailed estimates for custom home construction projects by reviewing architectural plans, blueprints, specifications, and project documents. You'll evaluate plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical system requirements, perform quantity takeoffs, develop competitive pricing, prepare proposals, and recommend practical solutions that align with project goals and budgets.

You'll work closely with builders, developers, homeowners, vendors, and internal teams throughout the preconstruction process to answer questions, review project scope, coordinate design considerations, and ensure estimates accurately reflect labor, materials, equipment, and installation requirements. You'll also assist with ductwork layout evaluations, identify value engineering opportunities, manage estimate revisions, track project changes, and help transition awarded projects to the production team for a smooth handoff.

Your ability to balance technical accuracy, strong communication, and relationship management will play a critical role in supporting successful projects and continued company growth.

We're seeking candidates with experience estimating residential HVAC, plumbing, mechanical systems, or related construction projects. Previous experience with custom homes or residential new construction is strongly preferred.

Successful candidates should be comfortable reading blueprints, specifications, and construction documents while preparing detailed estimates, proposals, and bid packages. A strong understanding of residential plumbing systems, HVAC equipment, ductwork design, construction methods, and mechanical installations is essential.

Experience using estimating software, spreadsheets, and construction technology platforms is preferred. Strong analytical abilities, mathematical aptitude, attention to detail, and organizational skills are critical for success in this role.
