Specific responsibilities include: Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Works independently, requesting assistance when needed Supports the physicians and departmental leadership Maintains all certifications and licenses required for the position Promotes a smooth flow of patients through the department and helps to create a supportive atmosphere. Conducts all interactions with patients and personnel in a courteous, respectful manner while maintaining confidentiality Maintains proper patient safety measures including but not limited to: proper identification, confidentiality, HIPAA, etc. Orders and maintains supplies Supports department staff on special projects as necessary Follows all governing guidelines set forth by organizations such as the Joint Commission, NYSDOH, etc., as well as, follow all departmental and organizational policies and procedures. All other duties as assigned EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program A minimum of two years experience in ultrasound is preferred. Salary Range: $36.07-$54.10 /hour Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
