Job Summary:
The Off Shift Patient Care Manager oversees unit operations during evening or night shifts, ensuring high-quality patient care and smooth clinical workflow. This role provides support to staff, addresses operational issues, and maintains compliance with nursing standards.

Responsibilities:

• Support clinical staff by providing guidance and assistance during off-shift hours.
• Resolve conflicts and mediate between staff or patients to promote a collaborative environment.
• Identify and address operational and clinical issues promptly to ensure seamless patient care.
• Monitor compliance with nursing practice standards and relevant collective bargaining agreements.
• Assist in maintaining effective communication across team members and departments.

Qualifications:

• Possess strong conflict resolution and mediation skills.
• Demonstrate the ability to quickly identify and resolve operational or clinical challenges.
• Have a thorough understanding of nursing practices, standards, and regulations.
• Be knowledgeable of collective bargaining agreements applicable to healthcare staff.
• Hold a valid RN license or relevant nursing credential.
